This event is designed to help you better understand these technical streams and make an informed decision for your future. Whether you’re interested in coding, hardware design, or other technologies, our speakers will provide valuable perspectives on coursework, co-op opportunities, and more.
This is a fantastic opportunity to ask questions, gain clarity, and hear first-hand advice from those who’ve been in your shoes. Plus, there will be free food for attendees!

“Elon Musk Announces that Tesla will launch robo-taxis in June”

- Tesla's Self-Driving Service: Elon Musk announced that Tesla will launch a self-driving ride-hailing service in Austin, Texas, in June 2025.
- Current Testing: The service is being tested in the Bay Area with employees using vehicles that have safety drivers.
- City Discussions: Tesla has been in talks with Austin officials since May 2024 to set up safety protocols and train first responders.
- Cybercab Unveiling: In October 2024, Tesla introduced the Cybercab, a driverless vehicle with no steering wheel or pedals. At the time, Tesla was planning on using some of its Model Y and Model 3 series cars for the ride-hailing service.
